Why do all sony fans hate the Nintendo Wii?

I don't think that there is anything wrong with the Nintendo Wii! You say it is not gaming. So what is the definition of gaming. Well you are playing on games which is gaming. Most of the games are family games where you can laugh at your dad getting the highest score on hula hooping. Yes, I admit that you hit yourself with the nun-chuck remote and you do look really silly (it's a bit of fun, who cares). There are loads of games where you can play on your own and with other people and you can get really competitive with other people just like you do on other consoles. I don't think that there is anything majorly wrong with the Wii.
You probably disagree and think that I am total wrong. Why has it sold so many of it's consoles and it has a bit section in game shops. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG THE NINTENDO WII!

Your whole argument is it's fun. But there in no challenge. Without actual targets (I'm not talking about "lose 8lb") there is no sense of achievement. The games are just sets of mini-games and re-hashes of classics. They bleed every franchise for all the money they can get.
It is £200 for a start. That includes:
no DVD support
no mp3 support
no video support
An Xbox 360 it roughly half the price and provides much more support for media formats. It too has family games, but the crucial difference is that it actually has REAL games for people who appreciate a CHALLENGE.
One more thing.
Does Yoga need a Wii?
Does bowling need a Wii?
Does baseball need a Wii?
Does golf need a Wii?
Do push ups need a Wii?
Do sit ups need a Wii?
Does jogging need a Wii?
Does snowboarding need a Wii?
You are paying £200 for a console that lets you do things you could be doing anyway. The real hobbies provide ACTUAL exercise (except bowling), are more fun and make you look much less stupid.
Before you ask shooting does need a PS3/Xbox360. Dying is much more painful in real life.

BTW What is "a bit section"?

The wii is lacking in features, if people want to spend close to £200 for a weighing scale and remote control all we can do is point and laugh. Even if they are deluded enough to think its "fun".
